Theology Reading Groups

A friend (Nathan Dewberry) and co-laborer of mine in the ministry here at LLBC brought me a copy of The Alabama Baptist paper this morning to show me an article about how Hunter Street Baptist Church started theology reading groups. The reason I bring this up is that it goes right in line with what I have been thinking about, blogging about and praying about. I believe God is doing some positive things in our denomination and state and this is just one of them. Nathan and I have had conversations along these lines that we would like to see these type things offered at LLBC. I can see us offerering these type classes or studies as an ongoing part of our equipping classes. I know Sonny Schofield is in favor of this and supports this direction.

So pray for us as we seek the Lords direction and timing on this issue.
